03.11.2014... about Homework to be submitted in 10.11.2014, on the issue of Photo Documentation of Cultural Heritage
Each student will choose one building, which can be accepted as architectural heritage, and will prepare a sheet comprising the plan and site plan sketches of the building as well as the photographs in order, as explained during the course in 03.11.2014.
On each sheet the students will explain in a short text, why their selection is important as cultural heritage.
Media: Black colored photoblock sheets (100x70) will be used in portrait.
The buildings can be chosen from any period on Republican Turkish, Ottoman or Seljuk architecture. Modern architectural heritage or buildings of industrial heritage can also be chosen. Students are strongly advised to visit Ulus, Kale, Erzurum Mahallesi, Bahçelievler districts to choose their subjects. There are plenty of buildings from different periods in Ankara, so there is no need to worry about the alternatives. Students are also advised not to choose big buildings.
After choosing the subject each student will inform BuÄŸra GÖNÜL, who is responsible for keeping the list of the chosen subjects.
Grading policy:
Format: 15 points
Appropriateness of the chosen subject: 25 points
The appropriateness of the number of photos and sufficiency: 20pt
Sketches of site plan and plan: 10points
Order: 30points
Late submission: -25 points.
